What we say:
At A Glance:
The Ibanez FLATV1 Josh Smith Signature AZS Black is a fresh take on a familiar shape. Created in collaboration with blues sensation Josh Smith, we have a workhorse guitar that's designed to bring out your best with its comfortable, ergonomic body shape, solid hardware and excellent FLAT5 pickups.
Player friendly features include a very comfortable bodyshape with a FLATV joint heel to provide a classic feel to the guitar, luminlay side dot inlays for improved visibility when performing, and a curved control plate specifically designed for this series to allow for easier access.
Features We Love:
S-TECH WOOD Roasted Maple Neck
This special form of roasting treatment gives heightened stability, durability, water resistance and makes the neck less susceptible to changing temperature conditions, ensuring years of reliable playing.
Seymour Duncan FLAT5 Pickups
The FLAT5 pickup set was designed by Seymour Duncan to meet the demands of Josh's strict tonal demands. Josh's iconic Blues sound is captured perfectly in these vintage style single-coils, that provide bright, thick tone with a slightly increased output for a bit more punch.
Gotoh Hardware
Top of the line tuners from Gotoh provide an unbelievably high level of tuning accuracy and stability. Paired with the Gotoh F1803 bridge, we have a guitar that's built to withstand the rigours of extensive touring and long shows.
Who Is It For?
Josh Smith fans or anyone who has a passion for modern Blues will love this guitar.
Highlights:
- Solid, reliable hardware
