Presonus was founded in 1995 in Louisiana, USA.
Studio One is Presonus' very own DAW (Digital Audio Workstation)/Recording Studio software package. Originally released in 2009, Studio One's current incarnation is Version 4. Virtually all Presonus Audio Interfaces and Mixing desks come with a free lite version of the DAW with the option to upgrade to the full version. A professional level studio package, Studio One is growing very quickly in popularity thanks to its ergonomic approach to music production. Presonus have seen a massive rise in people switching over from other DAW software packages since they released Version 3.
