I USE HS7s on my Tyros 5 and you can hear everything so clear and balanced .

Great speaker. No matter of what you going to use it for. I got two of them as my DJ monitors and an upgrade to my build in speakers in my all in one controller. I must say that I'm very happy with the quality and sound that comes out of this monitor. Loads of power on them too. Just bear in mind as they weigh a bit l. Definitely good purchase and not regretting a penny that I've paid for them.

Exactly what I wanted. A huge improvement on the speakers I’ve been using.

Game changer. Get yourself a pair. Only nitpick is having the Yamaha logo imprinted on your retina, which is fixed by a large dot sticker.

Nice speakers, different to my old KRK Rokit 5s but I wouldn't say night and day different. They seem fussy about cables - I had to use a balanced 1/4" to 3-pin male as it wouldn't take a balanced 1/4". It did take unbalanced cables though. Best part is the offer for free Yamaha wireless earbuds just now though - apparently though they can take another 60 days to arrive so the jury's out on if they're good but they're worth £99 apparently so I have high hopes.

It's early days but they seem really good - clear and precise. The downside is they are showing me need to improve my mixing skills!

They are an excellent speaker and sound well in a room studio

Superb clarity and quality; the room control feature is very useful for short term solutions to small and lively rooms, which is ideal if you sometimes compose and mix in different spaces.
