Boss's Waza Craft line is an exclusive group of the most popular Boss pedals, taken by Boss Japan's engineers and developed further to provide the 'ultimate' version of that particular pedal. Waza in English translates as either "art", "deed", "performance" or "technique" depending on it's usage and context but any of these make sense when applied here!
The Waza Craft DM-2 is a faithfully accurate-yet-updated take on BOSS's famous DM-2 Analogue delay pedal. It's been one of those rare and expensive collector's market pedals since 1984 when it was discontinued. Persistent demand over the years has made this a very timely reissue.
The DM-2 comes now with two separate modes: Standard, which is a completely faithful reproduction of the original circuit with 20-300ms of delay time; and Custom, which gives exactly the same quality of rich analog sound but increases the scope of delay time form 40-800ms. This really opens up the pedal to more modern usage where longer delay times are required. An additional pedal can also be added to control the delay time from your foot.
