What we say:

At A Glance

A favourite choice of many metal players, Ibanez have been providing well built and high performing guitars for many years. The RGA is a classic model that many musicians know and love and from this offering, we can see why. Ibanez have managed to bring together a number of excellent and player friendly features for a very respectable price. The Quantum pickups certainly sound the part and deliver all your tonal excellence with ease. The construction is the same great quality you expect from Ibanez and the end result is a well built guitar ready for hours of gigging. Perfect for those looking for their first serious metal guitar.

Features We Love:

Flamed Maple Top

A top this nice is unusual to find in this price range. It is smooth and sleek, offering an inviting change from a solid colour top. It is also subtle enough that it maintains class. The white binding adds the perfect contrast and highlights the guitar nicely.

Wizard III Maple Neck

Ibanez are favoured amongst many rock and metal players due to the thin and flat neck. It provides a fast playing surface and has features solid construction. With 24 jumbo frets you have everything you need to get those licks up to speed and travel up and down the neck with ease.

Quantum Pickups

These pickups have been voiced with heavy music in mind. The fast bass response allows for clarity when the speedy staccato riffing is paramount. The mids and highs are powerful but not piercing so regardless of what you choose to play, it will be captured well on the Quantums.

Pros:

  • A great choice for those looking for an affordable metal guitar
  • Ibanez brand quality and construction
  • Classic RG style

Oh wow. What an amazing guitar. I'm a bassist at hear and wanted something fun to play about on. This guitar is just amazing. Plenty of tonal options from crisp clean tones to very aggressive tones this guitar can pull it all off.
