Schecter’s high quality T-style guitar, the PT, enjoys a rather ‘early 70s’ style makeover here with a Bigsby and some additional controls.

The PT has always been an excellent workhorse. Just ask Pete Townshend: his initials supply the guitar’s name since he was a visible advocate of the guitar in the early 80s. Its hot-rodded T-style design has become popular with players from many genres and styles.

The model we have here today takes more than a little inspiration from certain 1970s ‘Custom’ and ‘Deluxe’ guitars! It looks great, with its Metallic Red finish and mountains of chromed hardware.

This PT has two custom Alnico humbuckers, coil-tappable via push/pulls on the Tone knobs. These produce a fine palette of rootsy, retro tones that fully complement the modus operandi of this instrument.

These work well with the licensed Bigsby B50 vibrato arm. Lush-sounding wobbles and shimmers are made possible with this stylish addition.
