What we say:Fender’s new Mustang GT amplifier range is a series of cutting edge game-changing digital amps with a host of useful features and, more importantly, a range of incredible, convincing tones.
This Wi-Fi amp allows you to download tones, updates, share presets you’ve made, even stream music from your phone or any other bluetooth device and jam along. Talking of phones, there’s an app available that allows you to access loads of presets on your phone, tweak them and it’ll automatically update your sound coming through the amp.
The presets onboard are themselves fantastic. You get a large LCD screen to interact with the settings and there are a host of specific artist presets to enjoy and use. The screen has a graphic of the amp’s front panel too so you can instantly make adjustments.
On top of all of this you get a 60 second looper (use the optional MGT-4 foot switch to control this from your feet) and onboard effects that “spillover” when you change sounds. There is so much going on under the hood, it’s incredible! It’s all handled by a pair of special design 6.5" speakers for a lovely stereo spread. This amp has more than enough features for detailed recording and is almost the perfect home and rehearsal amp.
We invent the world’s first WiFi-equipped guitar amplifier, making it easy for you to download the latest updates, access Fender artist-created presets, and connect directly with a community of other creative players and music makers like yourself.
We create the Mustang GT-40 digital amplifier, perfect for tabletop or recording desk.
Packed with 21 classic amp models—everything from the renowned ’59 Bassman to modern metal—and 47 different effects, the Mustang GT-40 can easily recreate classic tones or create brand-new, never-before-heard sounds. We developed new algorithms with even higher fidelity and more realistic response, along with more signal path flexibility so you can move effects anywhere in the signal chain for creative exploration. Program your sounds in the studio on the Mustang GT-40’s large, full-color LCD display and then, with one hand, take them anywhere for the most realistic listening experience possible.
We invented inspiring tone, and our updated amp models let your instrument’s voice and the dynamic nuances of your playing come through, reacting just like the originals to your every move. Lighten your attack to “clean up” your sound or dig in to make it grunt or howl. Mustang GT-40 and its dual 6” speakers reproduce every part of the performance with precision, as well as providing full-range output in stereo when streaming audio from your mobile device via wireless Bluetooth.
Adding convenient control to the Mustang GT-40’s power is the easy-to-use Fender Tone app. Not only can you control the amp in real time with one finger, just like the originals, you can easily upgrade the amp’s capabilities, adding more power and presets without patching a single cable or plugging in a soldering iron. And, you can connect easily to the Fender Digital ecosystem for learning and sharing.
One amp for every stage, the Mustang GT-40 is easy for beginning players but powerful enough to go around the world.
