What we say:

At A Glance:

The Taylor 314ce acoustic combines the pairing of Solid Spruce Top and Solid Sapele Back and Sides, with the enhanced V-Class Bracing system, for unparalleled sonic power! Not to mention it's ready to be plugged in out of the box with Taylor's Expression System 2 ensuring that no matter where you play, you'll be heard. A cutaway ensures easy access to upper frets for those who want to do some solos and lead work.

Features We Love:

Expression System 2

Taylor's acclaimed pickup system gives you a professional sound right out of the box with exceptional amplified tone and dynamics. This makes it perfect for the performing or recording musician.

All Solid Construction

All solid wood construction allows your acoustic to resonate more freely than laminate. This ensures that out of the box this guitar will sound fantastic, as well as providing you with a lifetime of ultimate tone.

V-Class Bracing

Taylor's revolutionary bracing design allows the top wood of the acoustic to move more freely, producing an improved, louder sound with more sustain.

Pros:

  • The Grand Auditorium body shape is Taylor's signature shape, designed to be all-purpose delivering great projection and tone, whatever style you play.
  • Classic combination of spruce and sapele gives you a balanced all round sound
  • With the expression system you're always ready to perform with peace of mind that you're guitar is going to sound its best

Lovely guitar.great sound and good quality

Raymond W. - 14/12/2022

Delighted with my Taylor guitar. The difference between my old guitar and this one is night and day. Just sounds so much better. Even my teacher is jealous!

Mark S. - 7/9/2022

Lovely guitar, beautiful sound if a bit brighter than the Martin I had. Fretboard took a bit of getting used to, no built in tuner which involved buying one but that's OK just extra cost. Sounds a little more muted with a Capo so experimenting with brands but guitar is well weighted, and is of a high standard finish. Struggled to get a strap to fit due to positioning of front pin and dependant on brand can interfere with volume and tone dials on shoulder. Taylor straps can cost £100 but that aside, quite happy

Very pleased. As an electric guitar player buying my first acoustic I am on a steep learning curve with this. It sounds amazing, great volume and sustain. Also great clarity. It is so bright, it?s alive!

Roy S. - 21/6/2021

Great sound from this guitar tried a few in the shop, but this guitar picked me.

Paul F. - 14/11/2020

So far so good. A big step up from my previous acoustic. My hope is to get many more years of enjoyment out of this

Daniel B. - 3/9/2020

Very easy to play as taylors are known for. The mid range is punchy, and the highs are nice and clear with a full low end. Great for fingerstyle and strumming

Steven K. - 16/2/2020

Beautiful guitar couldn?t be happier with purchase. Excellent tone, sound great for strumming and finger style just beautiful. Not great for string bending due to low action. Love the guitar
