What we say:

Landlord FX bolster their ranks with the addition of the Taproom, a delay pedal with some interesting potential for mayhem!

Ostensibly, the Taproom is a straightforward digital delay. You have three controls for Level, Time and Repeat. In terms of delay length, the Taproom gives you as short as 20ms (perfect for doubling effects) and as long as 620ms for lengthy repeats.

There is fun to be had with the Repeat knob. Turning it clockwise will, as expected, increase the number of echoes produced by the circuit. Turn it further, though, and the repeats will begin to self-oscillate and misbehave in an extremely engaging way! This misbehaving attitude is a real bonus for creative guitarists, especially if you elect to use the Taproom in tandem with another delay unit. The possibilities are exciting!

The more extreme sounds only come into play when the Repeat knob is in its last quarter turn: in every other setting, the Taproom behaves beautifully. Most practical uses only require a few delay repeats so there is plenty of mileage to be had.

Landlord FX are putting out some fantastic pedals and the Taproom is one that every guitarist can get onboard with. For quick, easy and more importantly great sounding delays, this brilliantly priced pedal is very hard to beat.

Good value for money, most cheap delays only go up to about 320 ms this goes to 620 so perfect for rock solos

Steve S. - 18/1/2023

The pedal does exactly what I need it to do from a playing point of view and very reasonably priced!

Excellent product and service

Rory M. - 7/6/2022

Needed a small simple no frills delay to add to the output of my Boss SY-1 pedal on my board. This little Landlord Delay is actually OK and if I needed a small pedalboard just for open mics I’d certainly look at the rest of the range from this manufacture

graeme m. - 24/5/2022

Appears to be well made and sounds good.

Stephen h. - 8/10/2021

Patrick M. - 7/10/2021

It fits perfectly with my other pedals due to it's small size

James M. - 4/5/2021

As good as any digital delay pedal I have owned that would now cost three or more times the price of this excellent little pedal. It is in a rugged metal housing and the controls all rotate with a positive feel. One issue that let it down a bit was the hex nuts for the jack sockets were not even finger tight. The sockets are mounted to the circuit board so care needs to be taken when tightening them in case the barrel spins and breaks the solder joints inside.

William D. - 20/4/2021

Could not fault the item. Exactly as expected and good quality build. Would highly recommend to other people looking for one.
