I use this specific type of plectrum only to record acoustic guitar. It adds an extra zing that with the right mic and proper distance sits well on the track. My normal type of picks are way thicker...

I also bought a Gretsch Streamliner that this page is not offering me a chance to review, so I’ll do it here: BEAUTIFUL. I love it. I really like Gretsch guitars anyway, but this one is a 3 pick up model in a lovely light gold colour they’re calling Shoreline. It was straight out of the box, so I had to give the action a little tweak but other than that it’s perfect. Played it live for the first time on NYE at my local rugby club (Cinderford) and it was just fabulous … ever so slightly neck heavy, but not enough to cause a problem.
