Fully-fledged Production Suite
Don't let it’s size fool you! The MV-1 is a fully equipped production suite, with a fantastic 8 track sequencer, great effects and editing tools. There are plenty of great sounds built-in, and the ability to load user samples via SD card. You can create finished songs with the MV-1 on its own, or you can integrate it with your DAW via a single USB cable. This makes the MV-1 very handy for laying down ideas on the go, and later bringing them into your main setup if you are a DAW user.
Legendary Roland Sounds
The MV-1 features sounds from various classic instruments, such as the Juno-106 and SH-101 synthesizers, and TR-808 and TR-909 drum machines. These instruments can be heard in a tremendous amount of music, and having their sounds in a pocket-sized groovebox is a powerful tool!
ZEN-Core Synthesis System
ZEN-Core is a powerful synthesizer engine that taps into decades of research and development by Roland. With perfectly recreated versions of classic Roland gear, as well as new creations, ZEN-Core will quickly become an essential part of your studio and stage sound. ZEN-Core is unique in that it works both as a plugin in your music software package and in the MV-1. This means you can write and record a song in your DAW, then take the exact same sounds to the stage with you.
