What we say:

At A Glance:

The Sigma 000T-42 is a well crafted and extravagant looking instrument. Finished with ornate abalone binding and inlays this 000T-42 looks as professional as it feels. Classic styling meets modern build quality, with solid tone woods, and quality hardware such as Grover tuners.

Features We Love:

Solid Tonewoods

To give the best sound possible, the 000T-42 features a solid Sitka Spruce top with solid Tilia back and sides. The solid Sitka Spruce top gives off a traditional resonant tone while the lightweight Tilia back and sides resonate with a softer tone. Together you have a delicate tone that lends itself well to a variety of styles.

Grover Tuners

You can't go wrong with some trusty Grover tuning machines, the 000T-42 features Gold open-gear Grovers. Keeping you in tune and adding to the extravagant look of the instrument these Grovers are the perfect choice for style, and performance.

Sustainable Materials

For the fingerboard and bridge, Sigma have chosen to use Micarta. A composite material that is both sustainable and consistent in it's tone. In a world with such demand for woods that can quickly become endangered it's always great to see a shift to more sustainable materials. Micarta being a composite is very stiff, just like Ebony, the result is a familiar bright tone.

Highlights:

  • Solid wood construction
  • Grover tuners
  • Bone nut & saddle
  • Micarta bridge & fingerboard
