What we say:

At A Glance:

The ESP E-II Signature Alexi Laiho Ripped in Purple Fade Satin was one of the final guitar designs from the late, great guitarist that inspired so many. Through his genre-defining playing, the Children of Bodom/Bodom After Midnight star changed metal music forever. It contains some of the best features you could hope for on a guitar and skillfully combines a high degree of functionality with tasteful looks and exemplary performance. With top tier hardware and an eye-catching finish, it's an instant winner in our eyes.

Features We Love:

Crafted In Japan

With a passion for high-quality results and an expert eye for detail, the ESP E-II range is meticulously crafted by luthiers with the goal of crafting incredible feeling instruments. These Japanese made guitars will help you to excel in all aspects of your playing - something Alexi certainly knew a thing or two about.

Neck-Through-Body Construction

This method of construction offers excellent stability and natural resonance. The 3 piece maple neck is joined with alder body wings and the results speak for themselves.

Scalloped Frets

From the 19th to the 24th frets, Alexi opted for a scalloped fingerboard. Advantages include more fluent and accurate playing plus potential tonal benefits too. Shredders will no doubt love this!

EMG Pickups

This unique combination is something we really love. First of all, passive EMG pickups sound amazing. The pairing here is a humbucker and a stacked single coil, resulting in a natural sound with plenty of edge. An included active boost switch allows you that extra signal boost whenever it is called for, such as during a solo.

Highlights:

  • Expertly crafted in Japan
  • Top tier hardware components
  • Perfect for pro metal guitarists
  • A stunning signature model from a highly influential figure
