What we say:

At A Glance:

The Udo Roesner DaCapo 75 is a two-channel acoustic amplifier that offers transparent sound and 75 watts of power. With built-in effects, plus an effects loop and DI outputs, this is a versatile amp that will suit professional players in most gig situations.

Features We Love:

Inputs

The DaCapo 75 features two combi inputs each with independent gain and EQ controls. Channel 1 features a tone switch that will add air to your signal, while channel 2 features a high pass filter that's great for cutting out troublesome low frequencies. Finally, there's a stereo aux input that lets you run backing tracks and background music.

Outputs

The amp features a useful selection of outputs, including a headphones output, a stereo line output that will let you run your mix to a recorder or audio interface, and a pair of DI's that you can run to a mixing desk.

Effects

Six built-in effects let you add some polish to your production. You get a choice of reverbs, delays and chorus to soften your sound, plus there is an FX send and return to expand your options.

Highlights:

  • Excellent for solo acoustic performers
  • Transparent sound won't colour the tone of your guitar
  • Gigbag included

Customer reviews

Overall Rating 5/5 (1 reviews)

After many years of frustration with getting a sound I like when plugged in, I finally got there. Just earlier today I jammed using this amp with my acoustic mandolin. My band mates were amazed how natural the mandolin sounded, just one loud mandolin! Nice eq and pretty easy to get a good sound quickly. The only thing I didn’t care for much is the built in effects. They’re ok but I prefer the sounds of my pedals. Still, this is an excellent amp!
