Gracing the panga panga fingerboard are the 24 Medium stainless steel frets. Ready for a busy touring schedule or demanding studio tracking, stainless steel frets go the extra mile, feel great when bending, and give you that extra peace of mind.
Neck Construction
The 9 piece multi-scale neck combines panga panga and walnut to give you a neck that's rock solid. Further combined with internal graphite reinforcement rods, and this is one bass neck built to stand up to the rigours of world touring. The multi-scale nature ensures a completely consistent string tension and intonation across the whole neck.
Pickups & Electronics
A pair of high quality Bartolini BH2 passive pickups combine with Ibanez's highly powerful Vari-Mid 3-Band EQ which features a variable mid-frequency control, putting a wide array of tones right at your fingertips. There's even an EQ bypass switch for passive operation, letting you bypass the circuit and utilise the treble control as a traditional passive tone control.
