The Michael Landau Coma Stratocaster Coma Red is a stunning take on the signature axe of session legend Michael Landau. Michael Landau is a true session legend, with a long, varied career from his own solo and band efforts to backing everyone from James Taylor, Joni Mitchell and Rod Stewart to Miles Davis, Tim McGraw and even Pink Floyd!

This guitar is based on Michael's constant companion and muse, the Coma Stratocaster. A true workhorse, Michael found his 1959 Stratocaster in an LA guitar shop when he was 16, already modified, and he's continued to modify it heavily over the years, all the while using it on countless recordings. This guitar is based on the Coma's current incarnation, sporting huge modifications like the no-longer-utilised Floyd Rose tremolo rout, custom ML-spec neck, and custom designed ML pickup set, with noiseless singlecoils in the neck and middle and a Wide Range humbucker in the bridge for maximum versatility.

This guitar is based on Michael Landau's own, legendary Coma Strat, the storied and heavily modified constant companion that's graced a large portion of the recordings Mike has made over his long, illustrious career. It's based on the Coma Strat in its current form, so sports features like the Floyd Rose style body routing, semi-stripped finish and permanent-marker "Coma" graphic.
