Sadowsky MetroExpress JJ 4 String Black Pearl Maple Fingerboard (Ex-Demo) #SMEM00795521

What we say:

At A Glance:

The MetroExpress JJ 4 String bass delivers Sadowsky's lauded quality and stunning tones into a fantastically affordable package. This lightweight, highly resonant bass feels stunningly playable right out the box, and comes loaded with a pair of Sadowsky's own passive J style singlecoil pickups.

Sadowsky built their reputation back in the 80's for bringing stunning instruments to the market that looked as good they sounded and truly performed to the demands of the working musician, and have found their way into the hands of artists like Verdine White, Will Lee and Tal Wilkenfeld. Yet, with lead times and prices on custom instruments often being beyond the realms of most of us, they sought to deliver quality instruments with that trademark Sadowsky sound much more readily. And so the MetroExpress series was born.

Features We Love:

Sadowsky J Pickups

The MetroExpress JJ comes loaded with a pair of Sadowsky's own J pickups. these pickups give you those classic punchy and clear singlecoil J Bass tones, all the way from singing, high in the mix Jaco tones, to aggressive rock tones, raucous punk and hard funk.

Action is Go

The combination of the Sadowsky Quick String Release bridge and innovative Just-A-Nut III nut allows for precise adjustments of the action and intonation without the removal of strings or expensive tech setups. The bridge allows for precise action and intonation adjustments, while the unique nut design allows for it to be raised and lowered with an Allen key, this is perfect for eliminating fret buzz or if you have to change your string gauge.

Familiar Quality

The Sadowsky MetroExpress JJ undeniably wears its influence proudly on its sleeve, but this is no mere copy. The entire range is built to a standard of quality and playability that Roger Sadowsky is proud to put his name on.
