These pickups are paired with Ibanez's dyna-MIX 10 switching system with Alter Switch. In position 1, the selector gives you a 5-way HH pickup selection profile. In position 2, the humbuckers are Power Tapped to deliver a lower, more singlecoil-esque output level and tone, without removing the hum-cancelling capabilities. In total, you have 10 unique sound options.
