With its huge array of models, visual appointments and body shapes, our 200 Series
has always offered players a wealth of options in both sound and style. With the
new 217e-SB Plus, we’re adding even more flavors to the mix. This Grand Pacific
dreadnought is crafted with back and sides of layered Indian rosewood paired
with a solid torrefied Sitka spruce top, yielding a warm, aged-in tonal character to
complement its bold projection and clear low-end power. Inside, our cantilevered
V-Class bracing enhances the response with more volume, longer sustain and clearer
harmony between notes, offering near-perfect pitch accuracy across the frequency
spectrum. Like other 200 Series models, this guitar features a hand-friendly nut width
of 1-11/16 inches, making for relaxed fretting for players of all skill levels. Along with a
striking sunburst color treatment for the top inspired by the 50th Anniversary version
released in 2024, this model boasts a full-body gloss finish, nickel tuning machines,
a black pickguard, a single-ring faux-pearl rosette, black body binding and 4mm dot
fretboard inlays in Italian acrylic. It includes ES2 electronics and ships with a sturdy,
lightweight AeroCase.
