Customer reviews

Overall Rating 5/5 (1 reviews)

I have been using the AC30 IR pedal from UA (Ruby pedal) with my Gretsch Falcon. I love the sound but needed a simpler more consistent dry/OD sound for gigging that I can adjust quickly if needed. The Laney Lionheart Foundry SuperTop (120W) has a great sound and close to a valve amp and because it’s Laney’s latest solid-state it’s only 7kg. Ideal for gigging and I use the DI output into the Desk and PA. I was disappointed that I had to purchase the footswitch separately, but thats minor to the sound I’m now getting. I use the FX send/receive circuit with just the Boss Chorus and UA Delverb. I’ve not added or stacked any OD/Distortion yet as the amps gain OD is enough for me at the moment. But the reviews always say the Effects circuit handles effects nicely. I had a muso buddy come try his vintage pedals before the amp and they sounded fantastic too. I highly recommend this amp if you want a lightweight head unit for gigging that’s easy to use live and handles effects and PA outputs. Jack, Stourport.
