What we say:

At A Glance

This Charvel American Neo Classic San Dimas SD1 HH FR Maple Fingerboard Racing Red is the ideal blend of modern innovation and timeless, classic design. Charvel have created a devastating shredder, that's capable of withstanding the rigours of modern guitar playing while staying true to their '80s roots. The cherry on top is the Floyd Rose tremolo, which opens up a whole new avenue of techniques ready to be explored.

Features We Love:

Seymour Duncan Humbucker Set

Loaded in this stunning guitar is the classic Seymour Duncan JB and '59 combo. With the '59 in the neck, you have a fluid vocal tone that can provide warm mellow tones or equally round but cutting lead tones. Switching to the JB bridge pickup you'll be met with a classic, warm and raunchy tone perfect for all things rock.

Perfected Playing Comfort

Charvel have spent decades refining the playability of their guitars, optimising features like the neck shape and fingerboard radius to provide the smoothest experience possible. The 12"-16" compound radius gives a comfortable and natural feeling for chords, while the gradual flattening as you transition further down the neck provides better precision for technical leads, solos and more solid bends.

'80s Dress Code

Few guitar companies represent the aesthetics of the '80s as reliably as Charvel. One look at someone wielding the American Neo Classic is enough to know what they're all about. The comfortable silhouette of a familiar classic, but with hot-rodded hardware, a streamlined speed neck with rolled fingerboard edges and Seymour Duncan pickups for good measure. It's been the uniform of high-performance shredders for decades.

Who Is It For?

Those looking for classic Charvel playability, perfect for rock, shred, and modern progressive players.

Highlights:

  • Seymour Duncan Pickups
  • Comfortable neck with rolled fingerboard edges
  • Iconic '80s Aesthetics
  • Floyd Rose Tremolo
