The Fender Custom Shop 1968 Telecaster® Closet Classic in Aged Tomatillo Green captures the essence of a pristine vintage instrument that's been safely tucked away for decades. This Tele® features a select 2-piece alder body finished in nitrocellulose lacquer, delivering the resonant tone and natural aging characteristics that players covet.
Hand-wound Custom Shop '67 Single-Coil Telecaster® pickups provide authentic vintage-correct tone, offering everything from twangy bite to warm, musical cleans. The traditional 3-position switch and classic control layout of master volume and tone put a world of iconic Telecaster sounds at your fingertips.
The maple neck is finished in nitrocellulose lacquer and topped with a premium 3A rosewood fingerboard, adorned with mother of pearl dot inlays. The 3-saddle vintage-style bridge with threaded steel barrel saddles provides classic Telecaster® tone and feel, while Vintage "F" Style tuners ensure a period correct aesthetic.
