Roland TD-07KV2 V-Drums Kit

Start with the Best

Offering the best balance of playability and value in its class, the updated TD-07 series delivers an exceptional drumming experience for beginners, dedicated students, and returning players. Kit setup has been simplified, greatly reducing the time it takes to start playing. Upgraded pads unlock a broader expressive range, while enhanced practice tools and hardware provide more options for skill development and growth.

The five-piece TD-07KV2 includes larger pads and two cymbals for a more immersive drumming experience. Larger drum pads offer greater freedom of movement, providing more room for rudiments, fills, and classic drum solos. The full kit configuration introduces more creative opportunities while also developing your coordination skills and stamina.

Fast set up.

The latest Roland TD-07 kits come with a drum rack that has many components pre-installed, making them among the simplest e-kits to set up. Packaging materials have also been reduced to minimize waste.

Upgraded pads with dual-mesh heads.

The TD-07KV2 comes with snare and tom pads from the V-Drums 3 Series, offering improved playability and updated sensor systems for precise sound triggering. Roland’s famous dual-mesh heads provide natural stick rebound and resistance that feel just like traditional acoustic drums, perfect for building skills that translate to bigger kits. The kit also includes a freestanding KD-10 kick pad that delivers a rock-solid feel and support for single and double beaters.

TD-07 module.

When you’re ready to play, the TD-07 sound module instantly gets you in the zone. Explore a wide selection of authentic pro drum tones, accessed with an interface that lets you focus on the sticks, not the dials. Want to drill deeper? This powerful module guides you through its features without breaking your flow. As you gain confidence, you can even edit the presets to make your own custom kits.

Your personal coach.

A seasoned instructor can make all the difference when you’re learning. Enter the TD-07’s coach mode—a series of onboard drum timing and accuracy challenges that keep you focused on daily improvement. Levels range from easy to hard, and scoring helps you grow and have fun at the same time. You also get an advanced metronome, a time-tested tool for improving your groove. In addition, the TD-07KV2 comes with Drum Pass, an exclusive Roland bundle of Melodics™ interactive lessons specially developed for V-Drums players.

A solid foundation with room to grow.

TD-07 kits are compatible with a wide selection of Roland pads and hardware, allowing you to swap in new components as your drumming evolves. The stand in each kit features a wide center pipe, providing space to upgrade to the KDQ-8 V-Drums Quiet Design kick pad for lower noise if needed. And be sure to check out the
RSH-10, a specially designed V-Drums smartphone holder that securely mounts your device within the kit while jamming with songs and running through Drum Pass lesson content.
