The Alvarez grand auditorium cutaway electro acoustic guitar has similar dimensions to a dreadnought, but with a narrower waist to pronounce the treble notes a little more. The hand-selected 'A' grade solid Sitka Spruce top and the striking Mahogany back and sides give the guitar a warm, resonant tone and the SYS250 3-band EQ with Backlit Tuner helps you be heard on stage. Great for finger-picking and strumming, this guitar is a true all-rounder.
Along with a more angled headstock, the Alvarez bi-level bridge increases string tension by changing the angle of the strings from the saddle to the top more acute. By improved the stability of the string tension, this adds to the guitars sound, responsiveness and tonal quality, heightened to a higher level with a nut and saddle made out of real bone!
