Steve Vai’s JEM series of guitars have become iconic designs in the quarter of a century they’ve been in production. It takes an eccentric genius like Steve to create an instrument with a Tree of Life inlay covering the entire fretboard and a large carrying handle cut into the body! It’s certainly an unusual combination but most agree that these flamboyant guitars look great! Although it is built for excessive shred (of course), lots of players are surprised at how versatile they are. Armed with Steve's signature DiMarzio pickups and an Edge Tremolo, it is all you could want from a JEM. This model comes in a classic white finish which lets the gold hardware really shine.

Body: 4 out of 5 - Item shows some mild and/or minor signs of use such as superficial swirling or hazing to the finish. There are no substantial dings, dents or scuffs which break the finish.
Neck: 4 out of 5 - The frets are in good order and the instrument plays cleanly and intonates accurately across the fingerboard.
Additional Information: A bit of light swirl/hazing across the top and some light buckle rash.
This guitar has been restrung with D'Addario strings.
