What we say:
At A Glance:
This Limited Edition GT 811e Grand Theatre from Taylor is a compact and beautifully crafted guitar. The Sinker Redwood top and solid Indian rosewood back & sides make for a unique and inviting tone pairing that's also very easy on the eyes. It produces a very pleasing tone for both fingerstyle playing and strumming. With all the gorgeous 800 series appointments, you get that full luxury look and feel. Add in the ES2 and you have a guitar that can flourish both acoustically and when amplified.
Features We Love:
Sinker Redwood Top
The soundboard is made from a slice of "Sinker" redwood that has been reclaimed from the depths of Northern California rivers. It's time submerged under natural waters has resulted in it's unique and beautiful grain, while its natural rigidity is key to the guitars powerful yet warm tone.
C-Class Bracing
The C-Class bracing gets its name from the cantilevered design. This bracing pattern not only offers great stability but also allows for an incredibly full sound, especially in the lower frequencies. Something you wouldn't expect from its smaller size!
Expression System 2
This is widely recognised as one of the greatest acoustic pickup systems available. It translates every ounce of tone, detail and dynamic from your fingertips, strings and guitar wood. This gives the audience an accurate and fully realistic translation of your performance.
