Who Are 49 Winchester?
Hailing from the depths of the Appalachian mountains, 49 Winchester are a unique blend of alternative country and barroom floor rock ‘n’ roll infused with a touch of bluegrass. The lead singer, Isaac Gibson’s vocals work alongside the snappy guitar licks creating honky-tonk swagger you can’t help but tap your foot to. Anyone who’s seen their live show on their most recent UK tour can testify to this. So if you feel inspired and curious on how to create that Americana sound with a modern twist then read on!
An Exclusive Guitar Clinic
The 49 Winchester rockers are going to host an exclusive guitar clinic at our Glasgow store on Wednesday the 29th May. Bus Shelton - the band’s lead guitarist - along with Isaac Gibson (vocals & rhythm guitar) are going to talk about their tour, current rig, songwriting process of the band and naturally will break down a song or two for all the attendees. Both are Fender artists and dedicated Telecaster players who do a lot of dual picking as well as create interesting rhythm-lead voicings. Be part of this unique experience as we don’t get many original American country rock bands over on this side of the pond!

In association with Fender and as part of guitarguitar 20th anniversary celebrations, 49 Winchester will host an exclusive guitar clinic at 7:00 pm on the 29th of May at guitarguitar Glasgow.
This event is free but you must book a ticket in order to participate. There are limited spaces available and we anticipate this event will be in high demand so make sure you book your slot NOW to avoid disappointment.
