This amp isn't focused on preamp distortion and instead lets you feel and hear how the power tubes clip and break up when you push it, resulting in a rich harmonic sound.

Dynamic Response
This amp doesn't focus on being the loudest or being the most aggressive. Instead, it focuses on tone, letting its own volume and power tubes do most of the breakup. What you'll find with this amp is a clean, rich sound that responds to your touch in a very dynamic way. Though it isn't lacking in drive when we say this, engage channel 2 and crank the drive for a full, fat, crunchy British overdrive tone.
