What we say:

At A Glance

The DR-212 from Epiphone delivers a well made 12-string guitar at a very affordable price. 12-strings have a very distinctive characteristic, so it is no wonder that there is still a high demand for this style of instrument. Over the years, 12-string guitars have been used across a number of genres. From country to rock and blues to folk, wherever your musical journey takes you there is likely a place in it for this unique sound.

Features We Love:

Select Spruce Top

The top is select spruce, giving a bright and full tone. Spruce is a wood that sounds even better with age so the more you play it, the greater it will become. Mahogany is used for the body and the neck. When paired with the spruce top, the result is a well constructed guitar that sings with a well defined and full character.

Epiphone Build Quality

Adding 6 extra strings can put a lot of extra strain on an instrument. Thankfully Epiphone have taken this into account when building the DR-212. The result is a well made guitar that is strong and balanced. It will no doubt become your musical companion for many, many years.

  • Perfect for those on a budget
  • Ideal choice as a first 12 string
  • Epiphone quality construction

It was a well built guitar for the price, and sounds good--once the fingers started to harden up!

Overall, a very nice guitar. Well made and lovely sound. All the frets nice and smooth on the edges. Stays in tune and intonation is spot on. Only negative thing was the original strings. JUST AWFULL. Bin them and put on a decent set. I'm using Martin extra light gauge... Beautiful. I also lowered the action as it was way to high. Now plays so easily. Also bare in mind that it doesn't come with a gig back but Faith do a very nice bag that fits perfectly.

A fantastic instrument at a very reasonable price. The Epiphone build quality is excellent and the tone is truly sweet. I love my Epiphone guitar.

Great 'inexpensive' guitar. Epiphone 12 string acoustic for messing about in the house. Nice tone, but neck a bit bulky for my smaller hands.

It is an amazing 12-string for the price and sounds beautiful already. I have been told it will sound even more rich with use. It is also a superb looking guitar

Husband loves it. Exactly what he wanted. Set up pretty much ready to play.
