What we say:

Whether you're familiar with Troy Van Leeuwen's tasteful yet edgy playing on A Perfect Circle and Queens of the Stone Age or not, you can certainly appreciate his cooler-than-cool signature Jazzmaster.

Vintage pickups, block inlays on a bound 7.25" radius neck, magnificent metallic Oxblood finish with matching painted headstock...this thing is just class. Tro's signature is also on the back of the headstock which a lot of people prefer.

The rhythm/lead circuit is present but on this guitar it's controlled via a chrome toggle switch rather than the usual plastic slider switch. The bridge has brass saddles for improved sustain and bite and the pickups are vintage 65 reissues. All of these great features serve to enhance your playing experience. It's a stylish and great sounding beast which also comes with a hardshell case.

Specification

The Troy Van Leeuwen Jazzmaster® guitar is as distinctive as the sounds he wrings from it. Its gloss Oxblood finish with a four-ply red tortoiseshell pickguard is darkly alluring, with the interestingly contrasting touch of two white “witch hat” control knobs. The dual tone circuits (lead, rhythm) use a two-way toggle switch on the upper horn rather than the customary slider switch, and the brass-saddle Mustang bridge is combined with a Jazzmaster tailpiece. Other features include a maple neck with “C”-shaped profile and heel-end truss rod adjustment, 7.25”-radius bound rosewood fingerboard with 21 vintage-style frets and pearloid block inlays, two American Vintage ’65 Jazzmaster single-coil pickups with three-way toggle switching, and vintage-style tuners. Hard-shell case included.
