Manufacturer's ID: MINILOGUE
What we say:
At A Glance:
The Minilogue from Korg is a powerful analogue synthesizer in a compact and affordable package. It features four-voice polyphony with two rich VCOs, a smooth filter, an amp section with ADSR controls and a great LFO. There’s also a nice 16-step sequencer and a delay effect on-board. If you’re looking for an amazing polysynth without breaking the bank, look no further than the Minilogue!
Features We Love:
True Analog Design
The Minilogue features real analogue circuitry. The VCOs sound nice and warm, and you can cross-modulate them for interesting sounds. The filter section feels smooth and high-resolution, and the LFO is brilliant for modulating certain parameters. We’ve personally found adding a pinch of pitch modulation to the LFO works wonders for pad sounds!
Delay
The delay on the Minilogue sounds great, and can work wonders on a patch that maybe feels too dry. This is a great feature to have on-board, removing the need for an external delay processor.
Compact and Portable
The Minilogue features 37 slim keys, which are between the size of full-size keys and mini keys. This is a great space-saving feature, while ensuring the keys are still large enough for performing. The Minilogue itself is lightweight and easy to fit into a small gig bag. This makes it ideal for adding to a live setup, or to a studio rig with limited space.
