In the late 1960s the situation for US guitar manufacturers became difficult: guitars that were made in Japan, looking very similar to US guitars, were flooding the market but at a much lower price. These guitars increasingly endangered the US manufacturers dominance on the market, and a few American companies reacted to that development in an appropriate manner: They did not take any legal steps but instead launched a counter offensive. That’s when “Sigma Guitars” was born.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff made trying a variety of guitars a pleasure. Settled on the Sigma, good price, very comfortable to play, good action all the way down the fretboard, and now all i have to do is keep my son off it !

It doesn't have a second part to attach a strap at the top but other than that it is perfect. This guitar really suits my style of playing, it seemed far too cheap for the quality you get. The natural tone of the guitar even without adjusting the EQ on an amp is so good. The guitar looks very clean and aesthetic as well.
