Pickup Combination
This is one highly equipped tonal monster! In the bridge is Joe's signature DiMarzio Satchur8 which gives him that huge sound while still being fully capable of straddling numerous styles. The neck position is fitted with a Sustaniac Driver. Pulling up the tone pot switches on the Sustaniac for some out of this world note sustain as well as the possibility for some pretty experiment sounds by using the 3 way mode selector!
High Pass Filter
Making sure that the quality of the high frequencies does not diminish with lowered volume, the high pass filter keeps the tone rich and full of sparkle.
Edge Tremolo
The original Edge model of tremolo is in Joe's eyes the best. It is a critical part of his playing as he uses it to create a many number of stylistic flourishes throughout his licks. We can't promise that it'll make your licks as good as his but it'll certainly do an excellent job at smooth pitch variations while staying in tune!
