The already versatile G&L humbucker is compounded by the now famous G&L electronics. Featuring a split and parallel mode to give you that full fat humbucker tone and a more single coil-esque tone, we're also treated to the "OMG" mode. This mode acts somewhat like a bass boost which totally overhauls the tone and has to be heard to be believed, taking this fun short scale bass to the next level.
G&L Saddle Lock Bridge
The Saddle-Lock Bridge is another fantastic Leo Fender innovation, featuring a set of small screws at either side of the bridge for secure anchoring, this cultivates the string resonance as one single mass and directs the energy into the grain of the wood. This not only improves the overall tone but really lets those lower bass notes come through with power.
