First released in 1969, the Deluxe saw the introduction of the mini humbucker to the Les Paul lineup. Mini humbuckers retain the hum-free performance of their full-sized cousins but with a somewhat clearer and brighter tonality.

These smaller pickups, introduced in the late '60s and standard on the Deluxe by the early '70s, offer a tighter, brighter response compared to full-size humbuckers, making them well-suited for articulate leads and punchy rhythm work. The Heritage Cherry Burst finish on this model is a vivid expression of its vintage aesthetic, with warm red edges fading into amber, exhibiting charming wear that tells the story of its decades of play.

Condition Report

At guitarguitar, we award our used gear a grade from 1-5 according to its overall condition, with 5 being the best.

This item was appraised as follows:

Body: 3 out of 5 - Instrument has been used and shows evidence of its life in the forms of checking, chips and other superficial wear and tear. Metal parts and hardware may be mildly tarnished or stained and cosmetically imperfect.

Neck: 3 out of 5 - The frets have mild wear and/or pitting and may require profiling or replacement in future if the guitar is played extensively, although this work is not required immediately and the guitar plays and frets cleanly at present.

Additional Information: Fairly aged with checking on the top with a couple few dinks and belt buckle wear on the back. This guitar has a replaced bridge. Plays cleanly all across the fingerboard.

This guitar has been restrung with D'Addario strings.

Accessories Included with this item are as follows: Hard Case
