The PRS McCarty range pays homage to the true heyday of electric guitar design, and is named in tribute to Ted McCarty, the legendary designer who contributed to some of the most important innovations in electric guitar design, including the Tune-O-Matic bridge and the humbucking pickup. Ted was employed as a consultant by PRS in the 80s, and became somewhat of a mentor to Paul Smith. A selection of our PRS McCarty guitars come included with a solid guitar case.
