A mainstay in the market of 7 string guitars, the Omen Extreme blends beauty with a very nasty beast! The bolt-on construction matches a maple neck with a maple-topped mahogany body. The neck, with 24 frets, has a rosewood fingerboard and a 14" radius The scale length is longer than a standard 6 string (26.5") to accommodate the tension of the low B. This Omen 7's body has multi-ply binding and a great Translucent Black finish.

Schecter's own Diamond Plus pickups handle the lower frequencies of the B-string with tight control, allowing your riffs and passages to flow with speed and accuracy. This is one large sounding guitar, perfect for up-to-date technical metal and other extreme genres.
