Designed by the award-winning MXR® Custom Badass™ team, the Super Badass Distortion puts decades of 100% analog distortion at your feet. With its highly responsive Distortion control, the Super Badass covers a full spectrum, from early ’70s low gain overdrive to modern “scooped” metal distortion and every shade of dirt in between. Once you’ve dialed in your desired amount of crunch, you can use the Bass, Mid, and Treble controls to finely sculpt your sound.

Very versatile smooth distortion, and frequency controls , really contour the shape and sound from boost to crunch and through to mild then heavy distortion, no harshness. Bass mid and treble a must to be explored as they add another dimension to the sound of this pedal.

A highly under rated pedal, goes from gentle overdrive to full on distortion. Will get that overdriven Marshall & Mesa Recto sound. Very versatile, excellent value. MXR do great pedals and this has replaced a boutique distortion pedal that cost twice the price!

More than I expected from an overdrive pedal. It's odd - if you don't want to delve into METAL then this is the pedal for you. Pick a guitar tone close to breaking up from UFO to Jimi and that pedal has the tone inside it. Remarkable engineering!
