Squier Affinity Telecaster Lake Placid Blue

My Squire Affinity Tele is a gorgeous piece of work that I've had the pleasure of using as a returning beginner/intermediate player. Paint finish is great and maple neck is as smooth as baby skin. There is one slight defect in the wood grain of the 15th fret, holding down the high E string you can feel it. Overall love the guitar, strong quality.

Originally started with the eastcoast Tele, but returned it due to fret buzz. It's an ok guitar for starting your journey but my journey started 35 years ago but took a detour for the past decade. Granted the squire affinity is a bit dearer, more than double, the difference is night and day, it's worth the extra expense as this is a guitar that will keep you happy for many years to come. Build is solid, and it stays in tune wonderfully, the eastcoast needed tuning almost constantly. The eastcoast does look the part but if you plan to play for years and you can't afford a genuine fender Tele, then the squire affinity is a worthwhile choice.

Brought for my son as a gift , his first electric guitar after making the transition from acoustic . Beautiful guitar , my son is made up .
