What we say:

At A Glance

The STORIA II has been built with the kind of care and attention that only Yamaha can provide. With an impressive construction, small body, and shorter scale length, the STORIA II was made with ease of playing in mind.

Along with the great specs and aesthetics, there is also the ability to be amplified through the onboard passive under-saddle pickup, allowing the gigging guitarist or home recorder to plug in from the get-go.

Features We Love:

Solid Top

Built with a solid mahogany top, the STORIA II comes equipped with an already great tone that will improve over the lifetime of the guitar. Not only that, the semi-gloss finish really lets the aesthetics of the wood shine and feels great under your hand.

Included Electronics

The next step from learning and practicing is being amplified for recording or gigging, and included on the STORIA II is a fantastic passive under-saddle pickup for just that reason. Simply plug into the input jack located on the bottom strap button, and you'll be ready to go.

Luxurious Aesthetics

The STORIA II may initially look quite plain, but dig a little deeper and you'll see the attention Yamaha paid to the details. From carefully rolled fingerboard edges for comfort, to the Champagne-gold coloured accents via the hardware, there's certainly a boutique feeling to this instrument.

Who Is It For?

Perfect for beginners looking to start playing acoustic and wanting a slightly more upmarket instrument, or for a traveling or gigging guitarist that needs a comfortable instrument to take on the go.

Highlights:

  • Comfortable, smaller scale and bodied instrument for an easy playing experience
  • Solid top sets you up with a wonderful tone for years to come
  • Included electronics allow for a plugged in and amplified experience.
  • Yamaha quality and care paid to the little details.

Customer reviews

Overall Rating 5/5 (2 reviews)

I'm a guitar novice so can't really say much about the sound quality but it sounds great to me. What I can say with confidence is the quality and look is beautiful. Everything is nicely finished, all the hardware looks and works beautifully. I't feels to me like a more expensive guitar than the price I paid. I love the satin finish with a seamless edge on this model. I think it makes it stand out from the typical guitar look, particularly at this price point. So in summary I'm very happy with my choice.
