Atkin acoustics are all made by hand in Canterbury by a small team of 7 artisans. The quality speaks for itself in the detailing, sound, projection, and finishing.
Old-World Aesthetic

All Mahogany Construction
With this OO12S we're treated to Mahogany throughout the guitar for a warm and harmonious voice. The smaller size of the OO12S keeps everything very comfortable but the mahogany helps retain the volume and projection of a larger acoustic. The midrange is what we think of when we have mahogany and this guitar certainly projects it when you strum but can easily be tamed back for a warm and delicate tone with fingerstyle playing.
