Made in their factory in California on Fender Avenue no less, G&L strive to continue the legacy of the great Leo Fender. His private workshop still sits at the heart of the factory, the passion Leo Fender put in to innovation and design is still ingrained in every instrument that leaves the factory.

G&L Saddle Lock Bridge

Designed by Leo Fender himself to improve tone, sustain, and transfer of energy. One of the biggest design features of this bridge is the small allen screw at the side of the bridge which pushes all the saddles together allowing them to resonate as one mass. This reduces loss of vibration through side to side saddle movement. In addition to this the underside of the bridge has a sizeable piece of metal which fits in to the body increasing vibrational transfers. All creating an exceptional sounding bass that resonates like none other.

Alnico Pickup

Described by G&L as a "Holy Grail" this simple split coil design is right at home in this style of bass. Simple controls blend well with the vintage sounding pickup. Building off of Leo Fender's Legacy with modern updates but keeping the core sound the same this alnico pickup is designed to give a classic tone.
