The PRS DGT is a signature guitar designed in collaboration with David Grissom, and has been refined over 20 years of working together. It is based on the McCarty platform which pays homage to classic guitar design, so the guitar has a feeling which is both traditional and modern. It took Paul and David a year of testing and comparing over forty sets of pickups to create the perfect vintage voicing of the DGT pickups, and with a coil tap option they deliver a versatile selection of tones.
The classic flame maple top is accented with a beautiful dark cherry sunburst while elegant and suble moon inlays add to this guitars highly sophisticated look. The PRS Gen II Tremolo paired with Phase III locking tuners allows for a fantastic range of expressive vibrato and bends with excellent tuning stability.
