About 1990s Guitar Gear
1990s Guitar Gear is from a rich and interesting era. American grunge and alternative rock bands dominated most of the early days of the decade, using a wide choice of electric guitars, amps and pedals to make very exciting and new guitar tones. Bands like Oasis, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, the Smashing Pumpkins and the Red Hot Chili Peppers all gained their reputations from playing live, and from appearing at famous festivals such as Lollapalooza and the second Woodstock.
Later on in the 90s, nu metal began to rise in popularity, blending heavy metal guitar tones with rap music. Alongside this, British bands such as Radiohead were noted for their excellence, and Oasis became one of the most popular bands in the world.
Looking back, many music fans regard the 90s as being a particularly special ‘golden era’ for music, and for guitar music in particular.
Why Should I Choose 1990s Guitar Gear?
- The guitars, amps and pedals are all still highly relevant today
- The sounds of 90s guitar gear are also appropriate for other styles from other decades
- Some of the most highly sought after gear in music history
