Gibson ES

Gibson ES Series is one of the most recognisable and enduring series in guitar history. ES models are a series of either semi-hollow or fully hollow guitars, depending on the model. Most models such as the 335, 345 and 339 feature humbucker pickups, while some models like the 330 use P90s. Gibson ES guitars have featured in some of the most iconic musical moments of the last 70 years.

These guitars feature a softer midrange and airier top-end than solid body Gibsons like the Les Paul. Born out of ‘archtop’ jazz guitars, classic designs like the ES-335 and ES-330 are thinline archtop guitars with distinctive f-holes. Because of their thinner bodies, they are much more versatile and comfortable. They have been played in all styles of music from alternative rock to blues.

Current Gibson ES models range from reissues of vintage guitars to modern spins on old designs such as the ES-339.
