I have not owned a guitar for many years but boredom encouraged me to purchase another & upon advice from a superb guitarist friend I bought the Yamaha 310 acoustic model & it is really excellent. I have found the metal strings a little strong for my fingers & am about to substitute them for nylon but overall the guitar is perfect.

It sounds beautiful. It plays really easily. I wasn?t expecting such high quality from such a low price range. I?ve never owned a guitar with such a soothing warm tone to it. It?s perfect, just perfect

I have small hands and the neck is a nice width, also settings between strings and bridge make it a bit easier to push down. Although still hitting some bum notes.

Perfect choice for me as a beginner! Comfortable to hold and simple to tune! A very good recommendation by highly knowledgeable staff!

This was my first guitar so I was wary of the fact that I needed something that was of good quality so that I could keep track of my progress and not have poor quality parts interefering, I also required a guitar that was fairly cheap as I didn?t quite have to money to get a top of the range guitar, not that I?d need one for my first guitar. This Yamaha f310 is exactly what I was looking for it feels really good to play, it feels well built and is a really good price considering how premium it feels. Definitely consider this if you?re going the acoustic route.

This instrument is better than a starter guitar has a right to be - good intonation with a bright, loud sound and no fret buzz. The neck not too chunky, not too thin, and is comfortable to play. There is a lot of mileage here even for a more experienced guitarist - excellent for the price.
