I absolutely love my new Gibson Montana J45 standard vintage it's an excellent sounding guitar I already purchased the faded J45 50s version but exchanged it for the standard as it has the better tone and sounds like a whole orchestra the glossy nitro paint job is fantastic too I just wanted the most famous one or I would have regretted it I also love the black case with the soft interior and it is also keeping my guitar at the safe humidity levels The price was good too so I didn't mind paying the extra for it because it is the best I heard it played on You tube a number of times and I played it in my local store so I know I made the right decision buying this one I am pleased with all the guitars that I have purchased from this store in the past Thanks guitar guitar Andrew Glasgow ????????????????

Excellent help and guidance from the staff (Dave H), he was very trusting and helpful, and left me alone to explore the guitar in privacy. No “heavy sales patter”, just checked in on me to see if I had any questions! There was another guy (Mel I think) who was also very pleasant. I also had a call a week later to ask how I was finding the guitar - a nice touch!

My new Gibson Montana J45 is without doubt the most amazing guitar I have ever played. It sounds incredible, looks incredible and is extremely comfortable to play. I just LOVE it so much. Thank you Gibson for creating something so beautiful not only in looks but in sound.

Great store to try various brands and models with good assistance as needed. No pressure. I expected to buy a Martin D28 but preferred the Gibson J45 which was a surprise. Traded in another guitar and probably could have got more money selling private but is was convenient.

Hopefully the guitar will improve with age, thought the guitars string action was a little on the high side and could have done with a set up before being sold.

Tried the display J45 at GuitarGuitar Birmingham and while it played great, the sound was dull, flat and totally underwhelming Tried a Taylor at a similar price and the difference was night and day in favour of the Taylor Asked Nathan if they had another J45 in stock and they did Played one chord on it and was totally sold

This Gibson J45 is something special…… I am over the moon with the feel, the sound, ease of playing! Only negative was the pickup battery pack coming loose which needed me to loosen the strings and press it back into position.

Excellent sound and quality

I had never played a Gibson J-45 before and wanted to try it out before I bought one. However, the only one I could find in stock was at a store in Glasgow - and I live in East Kent!. So I decided to buy it and, if I didn't like it, send it back on the 30 day returns policy that this company offers. I needn't have worried, the sweet tone across the full range and the playability of the action far exceeded my expectations - I just love it and can't put the guitar down. After 50 years of playing on mediocre instruments, I really wish I had bought a guitar of this quality earlier. As for the Gibson case that comes with it, the quality is excellent beyond my experience. I have no hesitation in recommending this guitar to anyone who loves a sweet, clear tone and a sturdy, well built instrument.

Great guitar. I tried all the J45?s in stock and picked the one that felt right to me. Action on this model was best for me. Just felt right. Worth trying as many as ups can - they?re all different

Its a Gibson J45 wanted on for a while

I asked to try all the available stock for this model in order to make a comparison of tone, volume, finish etc, and nothing was too much trouble. I was able to whittle the choice down to the exact look and sound I wanted.

Fantastic guitar and would highly recommend it. The action is perfect straight from the box and the guitar sounds wonderful. The slim body also makes it a dream to hold.

A sound that I?ve never heard from any other guitar! Just great to play... every time i?d played a j-45 it always sounded amazing no matter the model..so got my own now and very happy with it..

Very impressed with the tone. Only issue was very slight blemish but it appears to be difficult to get a Gibson without any marks
