Components

The Nick Johnston PT is host to an excellent selection of components. Including custom pickups, locking tuners, a roasted hard maple neck, brass ring inlays and a truss rod wheel that allows for quick and easy action adjustments. The result is a guitar that looks stylishly vintage, but offers the playability of a cutting edge guitar.

Custom Pickups

The guitar features a set of custom Nick Johnston pickups in an HS configuration. The single-coil Diamond NJ in the bridge pickup provides the clear and sparkly tone you want from a single-coil, but cancels out the problematic hum single-coils are prone to. While the humbucking Diamond ‘78 in the neck position delivers a gutsy hard rock tone that's great for soloing. The neck pickup can also be split using the Push/Pull tone knob for awesome single-coil like tones

Inlays

One of our favourite features of this guitar are the brass circle inlays, they give the guitar a unique appearance, making it stand out from the pack.
