Electronics

There's some fine wizardry going on in this guitar. Fender's Hand-Wound Master Design "Bone-Tone" Strat® Pickups are made with fewer-than-typical turns of heavy Formvar wire, giving you a pickup that delivers that classic Strat sound with tons of headroom and clarity to maintain your playing dynamics when overdriven. These are paired with Fender's superb 1/2 Blender system, which lets you blend in the Neck Pickup when in position 1, giving you the classic Telecaster both-pickups-on style sound, or in Position 2 where it activates all 3! In total this gives you up to 7 distinct pickup settings making for one tonally powerful instrument.

Relic Finish

This guitar's Journeyman Relic Aged finish completely evokes the idea of an instrument that's been well played but well taken care of over the decades. Taken out regularly for some serious sessions and gigs, but wiped down and put back in its case at the end of the night. The result is the gorgeous light eggshell-cracking to the finish, the discolouration and wear around the forearm bevel and that unmistakable fingerboard patina that's the sign of a real workhorse.
