The graphite-reinforced quartersawn maple neck is cut and rolled to the exact specifications requested by Eddie Van Halen and truss rod adjustments have never been easier than with the spoke wheel fitted at the base of the neck.

Monstrous tones come courtesy of a pair of custom wound EVH Wolfgang humbuckers controlled with a special reverse-oriented 3-way toggle. The Alnico 2 in the bridge delivers that powerful EVH tone with tons of punch and articulation, while the Alnico 3 neck humbucker gives you classic creamy neck tones and sustain for days, with articulate cleans when the volume's rolled off.

Other Eddie-centric appointments include the EVH BI Tech HPU low friction volume knob for effortless volume swells, EVH Bourns® high friction tone knob to ensure that knob will not move unless you move it, a kill-switch button on the lower bout for those unmistakable stutter effects, and the EVH D-Tuna® for instant, accurate switching between standard and drop-d tuning.
